2010-10-09
CARLSBAD, CA, October 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) Trion:Z, the leader in magnetic and negative ionic technology, announced today it is distributing Necklace Lite Trion:Z products to athletes participating in the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

Trion:Z is distributing its patent protected necklaces to athletes from its booth at the "Ford Ironman Village". Nearly 400 triathletes participating in the annual Kona underpants run for charity were also outfitted with Trion:Z necklaces on Thursday, October 7.

"Our necklaces are water resistant which has been a popular feature among the triathletes at this prestigious event," said Trion:Z CEO Toru Kamatari. "Many of these elite athletes are discovering first hand how the magnetic and negative ionic technology in all Trion:Z products can help to alleviate muscle cramps and sports related injuries."

Michellie Jones, the 2006 Ironman World Champion and official supporter of Trion:Z products will provide commentary for the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship swim on Ironman live. She has frequented the Trion:Z booth throughout the event touting the benefits of Trion:Z products. According to Jones, "The technology incorporated into the Trion:Z necklaces provides a stylish and functional way to help with pain management and race training. I think these should be part of every triathlete's training and racing program."

The Trion:Z Necklace Lite incorporates a high power Negative Ion producing mineral along with Eight 1000 Gauss Magnets for the ultimate Trion:Z technology. Trion:Z has designed this stylish water repellent "lite" weight necklace with fashion and sports in mind. In addition to the necklaces, Trion:Z also offers several different styles of magnetic/negative ionic bracelets for athletes participating in a wide variety of sports.

The Ford Ironman World Championship is considered the defining race for any avid triathlete. To enter the 2010 World Championship race, athletes are required to qualify through performance at an Ironman or selected Ironman 70.3 sanctioned race, through Hawaii residency, through a random allocation lottery, or by invitation from the World Triathlon Corporation. Tens-of-thousands of triathletes try to get one of those coveted Ironman spots every year and only 1,800 succeed. While there are thousands of triathlons around the world, it is this one that truly defines the sport. It has become triathlon's Super Bowl, Wimbledon, World Series, World Cup, and Tour de France all rolled into one. What makes this event so unique is that amateur athletes get to compete alongside the best in the world.

Trion:Z is manufactured by Colantotte International Inc. (dba Trion:Z) in a Carlsbad, CA. The company produces ionic/magnetic bracelets, necklaces, and accessories that incorporate negative-ions and/or magnets for athletes and people with active lifestyles. Trion:Z products are worn by hundreds of professional athletes in Baseball, Football, Basketball, NASCAR, Tennis, Volleyball, and over 250 professionals on the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, and Champions Tour.
