DeJarnette Releases dyseCT 4.1.2 and Offers Special RSNA Pricing

DeJarnette Research Systems Inc., a world leader in medical imaging and informatics technology announces the release of an update/upgrade for the company's unique dyseCT, computed tomagraphy quality control workstation software.

2012-11-23
TOWSON, MD, November 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Today, DeJarnette Research Systems announced the release of version 4.1.2 of its dyseCT CT workflow engine software. dyseCT is the only CT quality control workstation which automatically segments a CT study into its constituent body parts and matching RIS orders. The product removes the burden of manual CT study breakup to match RIS orders, from the CT technologist; it also removes the burden from PACS administrators in after the fact associating a single CT study with multiple RIS orders in the PACS. Radiologists also see benefit in being able to retrieve only the relevant subset of CT study images for viewing and reporting. The product has proven its value in both radiology departments and emergency departments.

The release further improves the performance of the web GUI used to adjust the automatic study breakup, and improves performance when receiving and processing studies from multiple sources. Current dyseCT customers will be contacted in the near future to arrange for a software upgrade.

The company is also offering RSNA 2012 promotional pricing of $5,000 per CT scanner interfaced. To learn more about this promotion contact Phil Rispoli, VP of Business Development at DeJarnette, or stop by the company's RSNA Booth (#3809) in Chicago, the week of November 25th.

The company has also announced the bundling of dyseCT as an option to the company's xDL - Vendor Neutral Archive product offering. dyseCT addresses a problem which if uncorrected by a facility when moving to a true Vendor Neutral Archive solution, will result in wasted storage and secondarily the sharing of unnecessary image data. As the size of CT studies continues to grow the problem will only grow. For more information regarding the use of xDL in a Vendor Neutral Archive environment contact Phil Rispoli and request a copy of the company's white paper "CT Study Storage in a Vendor Neutral Archive".

For more information on DeJarnette, dyseCT and other PACS workflow product offerings, contact Phil Rispoli, VP of Business Development (410) 583-0680 x 102 or at prispoli@dejarnette.com, web site: www.dejarnette.com

DeJarnette Research Systems, Inc. is a world leader in medical imaging interface technology. The company is dedicated to increasing the efficiency of image management workflow for all healthcare providers. Founded in 1985, the Towson, Maryland-based company engineers, manufactures and markets PACS workflow components, healthcare IT software, and imaging interface hardware. The company's solutions are sold through dealers, resellers and OEM partners.

"Though it may take just moments to post a position, screening all the applicants, some of which are far from suitable, ...
