PALMDALE, CA, August 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) While most parents focus their attention on school clothes and supplies, Dr, Eric Siani prepares for student examinations, teeth under attack from junk food and damage from the hard candy that kids love.

Dr. Eric Siani has his calendar marked. With Palmdale schools starting back, his schedule fills up with appointments for checkups. Most parents coordinate routine checkups like dental and eye exams with the school calendar. In the case of Dr. Eric Siani, a summer of poor hygiene, junk food and infrequent flossing brings a steady stream of cavities through his office.

Another issue that impacts kids is the opportunities for students to make poor choices when it comes to school lunches. All schools offer options when it comes to lunch and that opens the door for cupcakes, soft drinks and candy bars. While it used to be apples, oranges and bananas, students seldom make solid choices; it is most often about speed and taste. The results are predictable and Dr. Eric Siani tries to talk to kids as he has a captive audience while they are in his chair.

Dr. Eric Siani is a big proponent of flossing. Everyone has floss in their bathroom. If you are from Palmdale, the floss may have come from the office of Dr. Eric Siani. Flossing is one of the simplest activities that anyone can master and yet Dr. Eric Siani hears few references to students doing it. Students shy away from things that seem out of synch with their peers and flossing certainly is not a wildly embraced habit. For Dr. Eric Siani, talking about diet, dental maintenance and eating habits with children has become second nature. Dr. Eric Siani considers himself an educator of sorts. With more than thirty years of experience and hundreds of patients who began visiting his offices as children, his practice in now multi-generational. Every parent who began as a young patient of Dr. Eric Siani has heard the same message. Take care of your teeth and they will take care of you!

Dr. Eric Siani DDS practices at 2270 East Palmdale Blvd. in Palmdale California, and can be reached at 661-947-6782.

For Dr. Eric Siani DMD, life has always been about focus. Dr. Eric Siani DMD set his sight early on becoming a medical professional. Today, that University continues a major school for dentistry and now has more than 13,000 total students. The University issued Dr. Eric Siani DMD a D.MD degree in 1977. Prepared and educated, Dr. Eric Siani DMD began a practice shortly thereafter.

Dr. Eric Siani DMD gained his Certificate of Dentistry from the National Board of the American Dental Association Joint Commission in 1985. In 1986, Dr. Eric Siani DMD received his Dental Certificate from the California State Dental Board. Additionally, Dr. Eric Siani DMD received his Certificate of Radiation and Safety Techniques. Dr. Eric Siani DMD settled in California and again expanded his knowledge and advancing professional skills. In 1992 he was accepted as a member of both the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

Sixteen years after graduating, Dr. Eric Siani DMD began an Aesthetic Dentistry Mini-Residency at the U.C.L.A. School of Dentistry in 1993. The University graduated its first class in 1968 and now recognizes more then 4000 alumni with Dr. Eric Siani DMD among them. Dr. Eric Siani DMD attended the Southern California Center for Osseo integration in 1990. Dr. Eric Siani DMD also received advanced training in Osseo Integrated Implantalogy; the skill of applying direct structural and functional connection between living bone and the surface of a load-bearing artificial implant.

Dr. Eric Siani DMD settled in the San Fernando Valley and joined the San Fernando Valley Dental Association. In 1997, Dr. Eric Siani DMD received a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Achievement and Excellence from PMI for Professional Relations. He is a respected dental professional and enjoys relationships with peers, his community and his long time patients.
