Brittany Kampbell, 16-year-old from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, has a reputation of being the fastest female racecar driver in her town. While most of Kampbell's friends spend their Friday nights chasing boys, listening to Justin Bieber, shopping and going to the movies, Kampbell is chasing boys around the racetrack. Kampbell hit the racetrack at 14-years-old when she started driving racecars. She grew up around racing and developed a dream.

"I want to be like Danica Patrick. My grandpa and dad got me started. We would get a car and practice on the track, Hi-Way 92 Raceway Park," Kampbell stated.

Racing has been in Kampbell's family for generations. Beginning with her great-grandfather as a race promoter. Her dad and grandfather maintain and build the cars. In fact, she competes against her dad and brother and gloats to her brother when she beats him.
Mike Warren, Kampbell's grandfather owns four race cars with four grandkids driving them. Warren's passion is the racing business. Warren use to own race tracks and now sponsors NASCAR driver Rick Smith. He is able to financially drive his racecar business by becoming a distributor for Hydrotex Lubrication products, 25 years ago.

"John Beasley, CEO of Hydrotex, taught me how to make business, run my own business, and make the most out of money," Warren said. "I'm living the American dream making part of my living doing something I love to do. Selling Hydrotex products in the racing industry."

"Brittany's eyes light up at the NASCAR tracks," Warren said. "She is an aggressive driver with no fear and has raced against several champions in her division and left them in the dust."

However, there has been a bump in the road in Kambell's racing career.

"When I wrecked, my dad was racing and just won the race. I wrecked on the first lap. He saw me faced backwards up against the wall. Accidents are going to happen. I knew eventually I would hit the wall and I'm not going let a wreck get to me and I will continue racing," Kampbell said.
Though the road may not always be easy, Warren steers his granddaughter in the right direction.

"Find the fast lane where you are comfortable and go, be patient and you'll catch them." Warren said.
Kampbell races on the local quarter mile tracks and is practicing for NASCAR someday. She was Rookie of the Year three years ago and won the Highpoints Championship in 2011 and 2012. Recently, she won the class championship at the Hi-way 92 Raceway banquet and has remained champion in her class for two years now.
