Second Book in DTR Inc.'s Work Readiness Training Series, Workplace Skills, Now Available for Purchase

DELRAY BEACH, FL, December 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) DTR Inc.'s CEO Jay Goldberg, who developed a work readiness training program called the best work readiness certification program in the United States by a member of the National Skills Standard Board in 2003, has completed the second book in his new four module work readiness certification program. The four modules, each with its own textbook, are Workplace Basics, Workplace Skills, People Skills, and Customer Service.

At the end of each book are two workplace scenarios where things go right and things go wrong. There will be online certification tests for each module that ask questions based on these scenarios.

If a training venue or business does not want to use DTR Inc.'s certification process, that venue can use these scenarios as excellent read and discuss exercises at the end of their training sessions.

In addition to teaching workplace behavior and skills, the books explain why the topics taught are important to businesses, and why the employees' success in life is tied very closely to the success of employer for whom they work.

The topics in Workplace Skills are: time management, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, report generation, ethics, task completion, using procedure manuals, importance of continuing education, and more. In order to accomplish these skills, the proper use of reading, writing, and mathematics is explored since the way most were taught these topics in school does not apply in the workplace.
