Homes And Villas Abroad Agrees Deals For New Italian Property Range

Real estate group Homes and Villas Abroad begins marketing partnerships with realtors in northern Italy's lake area

Homes And Villas Abroad Agrees Deals For New Italian Property Range
2013-01-01
LONDON, ENGLAND, January 01, 2013 (Press-News.org) Italy's lakes region, including the likes of Lakes Como and Maggiore, has for millennia mesmerised visitors - Lord Shelley and Henry James to name just two - with some of the country's most scenic apartments and villas to be found here.

Now Homes and Villas Abroad, the Italy-focused property group, is pleased to announce it is significantly increasing its range of homes for sale in this area in response to demand from its clientele who wish to acquire real estate here.

The group has agreed partnerships with several realtors in this area to sell their portfolios to a broader, global audience.

Homes and Villas Abroad acts as a one-stop shop for customers buying in Italy and has also recruited a number of bilingual specialists in Italy's lakes region to help it offer as bespoke a service as possible to its client base, drawn from across the world.

Languages that the group can cater for are Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, German and English.

Marketing head Simon Llewellyn explained: "Requests for purchases in this area is still buoyant, especially with Russian buyers, with real estate boasting a lake view typically being most important on their wishlist.

"The lakes was an area in which we were already active, but we decided to seek additional partners to help us in meeting increasing demand. It is one of Italy's most in-demand areas but is not as out-of-reach financially as most people think; our prices begin at about US$130,000 for a single-bedroom condo.

"Notwithstanding well-known names such as George Clooney, Jose Mourinho and Sir Richard Branson having lavish villas here, the lakes offer something for practically every budget."

The region's principal lakes are Como, Maggiore, Garda, Orta, Iseo and Endine. There are excellent air transport links, thanks to the half a dozen international airports in close proximity. The nearest is just over 25 minutes away in Lugano, Switzerland. Three more are in Milan, all within a 90-minute drive, while the other pair are a little further out in Verona and Brescia.

Homes and Villas Abroad advertises more than 4,500 Italian properties from some 200 estate agencies. It offers clients a one-stop solution to purchasing, including a tailored property search service, handling all the legal steps in a purchase and sourcing trusted professionals such as surveyors, architects, lawyers and notaries.
