PHILADELPHIA, PA, March 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Although many consumers may believe that furniture has followed the same basic formula throughout history, furniture design leader INFURN has proven that interior design is subject to a lot of bold changes in 2013. In fact, a recent article from The Huffington Post highlighted many new trends and styles noticed among the showcased products at the IMM interior design trade show held in Cologne, Germany. According to the article, European designers are taking an innovative spin on minimalism by giving furniture pieces a seamless organic quality--a trend which is expected to take hold in America in the upcoming months.
Organic shapes and minimalistic lines are not the only thing that were reported at the IMM trade show, as many companies were noted to add a certain quality of life and ease to their updates of modern classics. Most notably, the article reveals that bright colours are making a strong appearance in this year's furniture designs. The article's author reports, "Brights are back. For a while we've been seeing a lot of greys and browns, and that may be due to our conservative attitudes as a result of the recession...Here in New York we've been seeing spots of colour in interiors but I think we'll be seeing more hues very soon."
As a furniture design company that likes to make use of bold colours for statement pieces, INFURN is thrilled to hear about the reemergence of brilliant hues. In a recent press statement, INFURN responds, "Bright colours will dominate the scene this season. Colours can have a major impact in any room and help alter the feel of the space. Consumers should choose walls and floors in a light colour scheme to make dark spaces look brighter and add furniture or accessories with radiant, vivid colours to balance. It is also a good idea to opt for accent pieces in bold colours, such as Kelly green, orange, marine blue or hot pink, that will bring the room to a new level.
Another important trend observed by INFURN is that of lightness. According to the article, "gone are the days of heavy, bulky furniture" as an unexpected level of "slim, thin designs" were apparent at IMM. "This season we should pay attention to slim and slender pieces, that are lightweight, yet durable. For example, our Louis Ghost Chair is made in a single mould of translucent polycarbonate that has great functionality, durability and is very easy to clean and maintain making it ideal for use both indoors and outdoors," concludes INFURN in its press statement.

It turns out that some types of facilities are more likely to overbill and provide sub-standard care than others.
In particular, for-profit nursing homes submit more invalid claims to the federal government. Bloomberg News requested data on nursing homes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It found that 30 percent ...
