COLUMBUS, OH, March 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) Capsa Solutions, a leading provider of computer and healthcare storage cart products for healthcare facilities, today introduced three new product offerings at the annual HIMSS13 Conference and Exposition in New Orleans.
The NEW AX Series Monitor Arms and Wall Mount System expands Capsa's reach into the health IT and point-of-care computing category where they currently offer a wide breadth of mobile computing carts and workstations. "The AX Series line is a natural extension to expand our portfolio of products that enable computing hardware and health IT directly at the point-of-care," stated Dave Burns, CEO of Capsa Solutions. "Capsa can now meet the requirements of those facilities that want both mobile computing and fixed access locations for their electronic health records and software."
In addition to its new AX Series, Capsa is also introducing FirstDose , a decentralized medication storage and inventory cabinet designed to streamline the process of managing "starter" doses for patients. Scott Salmon, Vice President of Marketing for Capsa, stated there is really no other product out there like FirstDose. "Most decentralized medication dispensing cabinets are too big, too complicated, and too expensive for many healthcare facilities. FirstDose from Capsa is perfect for most applications, is very simple to use, and can greatly improve medication inventory accountability and reporting," Salmon stated. "We believe that FirstDose will really change decentralized medication management forever in extended care, ambulatory, and specialty departments within acute care."
To support its current and existing products, Capsa has developed a new line of service programs known as CapsaCare . Rebecca Stewart, Director of Service stated, "CapsaCare is an extension of our comprehensive commitment to ensuring 100% satisfaction." Stewart added, "CapsaCare programs have been designed to support our healthcare customers that simply do not have the resources to manage a fleet of our cart products, or those that wish to protect their investment through extended warranties and preventative maintenance services."
