The Chef's Academy Joins Slow Food Triangle

Culinary Institution Supports Local Foods, Taste Education and Agricultural Biodiversity

RALEIGH, NC, October 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced its recent membership with Slow Food Triangle, a local chapter of an international organization that aims to promote gastronomic culture, develop taste education and conserve agricultural biodiversity through a variety of initiatives. The Chef's Academy will join with other members of Slow Food Triangle to celebrate local food and the farmers and food artisans who sustain the land.
