The 2013 NationaLease Spring Business Meeting Covered Big Changes and Big Ideas

The Affordable Health Care Act, the promise of CNG/LNG, and the changes and challenges facing small businesses were among the topics explored during the 2013 NationaLease Spring Business Meeting.

CHERRY HILL, NJ, April 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) The 2013 NationaLease Spring Business Meeting held in conjunction with TRALA's Annual Meeting March 12-14 at the Waldorf Astoria in Naples, FL, devoted two full afternoon sessions to its members, both with the goal of promoting the growth and future success of NationaLease, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America.

The first day of the meeting, Tuesday, March 12, began with keynote speaker Dr. Betsy McCaughey, former Lt. Governor of New York and Fox News contributor. Considered an expert on the Affordable Health Care Act, Dr. McCaughey presented an in-depth review of the law and how it will affect small businesses. She was followed by Noel Perry of FTR Associates, who shared his projections regarding capacity and truckload pricing, his predictions about the future of CNG/LNG, and his recommendations to companies that are considering investing in alternative fuel vehicles. The afternoon concluded with Adam Melson of SEER Interactive, who shared ideas on how businesses can, easily and affordably, maximize their Websites to help drive growth and sales.

On Wednesday, March 13, presenters Dean Vicha, President of NationaLease; Jane Clark, Vice President of Member Services; David Nitzsche, Sr. Vice President of Supply Management; and Jeff Spence, Vice President of National Accounts, gave updates on the many NationaLease programs and detailed plans for the future. The closed door session continued with members and executives having frank, open, and lively discussions on ways to improve business.
