TEANECK, NJ, April 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Kate Valentine UFO Show welcomed Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson Friday, March 8th at 1PM for a live interview which included questions and comments from the audience. Dr. Tyson is the Director of the Hayden Planetarium as well as an award winning astrophysicist and author of Space Chronicles-Facing The Frontier, his most recent book.
'
Kate Valentine's encapsulation of Space Chronicles won Dr Tyson's endorsement. "The main theme of the book is that it is vital to our nations future that the various space programs continue because he (Dr. Tyson) sees science and technology as the driving force behind human advancement" stated Kate..
Expounding on that, Dr. Tyson stated Space Chronicles, Facing The Ultimate Frontier "offers perspectives on what it means to not explore and the cost of that -economically. It's about the culture of innovation that going into space stimulates and when that stimulates a nation to thinking about innovating then you create the economics of tomorrow, whether or not you are working in the space program."
Tyson talked about going into space "in a big way, not to a single destination, but turning the entire solar system into our backyard. When it becomes our backyard the inspiration to innovate permeates our culture and we go from what is today a rather sleepy nation with regard to advancing technology and science to the innovation nation and that will become the engines of 21st century economies.'
When asked whether he thinks a grass roots space program has any chance of success Dr Tyson has some strong opinions. "Private enterprise can never advance a space frontier" and doesn't even think it's a debatable point. What Dr. Tyson is looking forward to is finding life on Mars.
On March 29, 2013 Kate Valentine welcomed Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, director of the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England. Professor Wickramasinghe is well-known in astronomical circles for promoting the theory of "panspermia," which proposes that life exists throughout the universe and planets like Earth are "seeded" by comets and meteorites.

There is a great deal of speculation and an impressive body of scientific evidence regarding healing and the causes of healing. Most scientists believe healing is accomplished through medicinal means, while others believe that our thoughts can play a major role. The placebo effect has been well documented, as has the power of belief and prayer. In other cultures herbs, incantations and spells can bring about the state of healing. Jerry Pollock, PhD, believes that at the core of all of these lies a common element - God.
