La Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos (AEM) Launches Bi-National Chapters in Baja California and California, and a Conference Series Called, "Think Mexico"

SAN ANTONIO, TX, April 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) A nonprofit that was launched in San Antonio, Texas, in 1996, the Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos (Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs or AEM), serves as a bridge to success helping Mexican Entrepreneurs who move to the United States to quickly learn the U.S. way of doing business as well as helping Americans who want to do business in Mexico.

To meet the growing demand from more Mexican entrepreneurs and investors moving to the United States and more Americans wanting to do business in Mexico, Eduardo Bravo, Chairman of AEM's Board, took steps last year to open new chapters in Austin, Brownsville, the Rio Grande Valley and Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas; in New York City; and in Monterrey and Mexico City in Mexico.

"Now we are opening chapters in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles in California as well as in Tijuana, Ensenada and Mexicali in Baja California," Bravo says. "We are proud that Luis Echeverria has accepted to be the president of the Bi-National Board for both Californias.

Echeverria is President of Aerospace Solutions LLC and Aerospace Solutions of Mexico. He has over 35 years of experience as an international banker, corporate executive, and as an investment banking and management consultant.

The presidents of the Baja California and California AEM chapters will officially meet for the first time at San Diego State University on April 15 to induct the new officers and officially launch the new AEM chapters.

Bravo says that AEM's key accomplishment last year was to lead the effort to organize a NAFTA summit that brought together thought-leaders, businessmen and women, and government officials from Canada, Mexico and the U.S. to discuss how to improve and increase commerce among the three-nation trading bloc.

As a result of the summit, the idea was born to hold a conference series called, "THINK-MEXICO," to promote more commercial trade between the U.S. and Mexico; to improve Mexico's image in the U.S.; and to support Mexican entrepreneurs in the U.S. through a collaborative platform.

The "THINK-MEXICO" conference series will take place in monthly forums in cities with AEM Chapters, and will be targeted to the business community and high-profile opinion leaders. The series will be an effort that will be coordinated by Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the AEM. Each forum is expected to draw 200 to 300 participants who have a genuine interest in increasing bi-national business relations.

The series will culminate in April of 2014 with the anticipated participation of Mexican President, Enrique Pena Nieto.
