Farmington Hills Dentist Now Offering Zoom! In-Office Whitening Procedure

Dr. Karson Carpenter, dentist in Farmington Hills, invites patients to brighten their smiles with a new whitening procedure now available at Drakeshire Dental.

2013-04-10
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, April 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dr. Karson L. Carpenter, Farmington Hills dentist, of Drakeshire Dental Center is pleased to announce the availability of Zoom! In-office tooth whitening to his practice. The popular center, which has been serving patients in the Livonia and Farmington areas for over 3 decades, also includes Dr. Alma R. Nava D.D.S.

There's no doubt that a brighter smile can boost confidence, as the surge in popularity of tooth bleaching procedures proves. While traditional methods of tooth whitening with take home trays and whitening cream from Dr. Carpenter, Farmington cosmetic dentist, are very effective, they take several days to weeks for results to be seen and are too time consuming for some. Zoom! Tooth Whitening system is an option for people who desire a dramatically brighter smile in as little as an hour.

Dr. Carpenter, dentist in Farmington Hills, has special training in the latest tooth whitening procedures. The Zoom! system is a state of the art procedure in which the dentist first prepares the patient's mouth by cleaning the teeth to remove plaque. Gauze is placed in the mouth to protect the cheeks, gums and tongue before the whitening gel is applied carefully to each tooth. A retractor holds the mouth open and has a guide specially designed to align the whitening light on top of the retractor. The light is then turned on, activating the whitening gel.

Zoom! Tooth Whitening uses a special ultraviolet light that speeds up the whitening properties of the gel by stimulating the hydrogen peroxide molecules in the formula. These lights are made especially for tooth whitening purposes and are designed to not overheat or damage the teeth. After 15 minutes of light treatment, the gel is removed and the cycle is repeated twice more.

Patients are very comfortable during the Zoom! procedure and many report falling asleep. Besides being the fastest available method of tooth whitening, Zoom! is the most effective, lightening teeth up to 8 shades from the original color. Results are often longer lasting than other whitening procedures, and because Dr. Carpenter, dentist in Farmington, applies the gel to the teeth, coverage tends to be more even than treatments done at home.

Dr. Carpenter, Farmington dentist, is glad to be able to offer this innovative procedure to his Farmington and Livonia area patients, and encourages those who desire whiter teeth to consider Zoom! Tooth Whitening, stating "It is a safe, comfortable and very effective way to get a dramatically whiter smile, and an especially good option for patients who want immediate results for a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary party."

Some of the reasons cited by traffic safety experts have to do with an improving economy. In general, people have more money to drive and have changed their driving habits. ...

Homeowners facing such a difficult dilemma often have to choose between foreclosure and bankruptcy. However, many in this situation ...
