Hale received the Leadership Achievement Award from Harrison College's Career Development Institute and was named The Chef's Academy Employee of the Year in 2010. Prior to joining The Chef's Academy, Hale served as the finance director for the Marion County Democratic Party in Indianapolis and site coordinator with School on Wheels, a nonprofit organization that provides educational programming to homeless children. She is now a member of the Leadership Triangle Alumni Network and is an ambassador for the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce.

"It is a true honor to be named director of student services for The Chef's Academy's campus in Morrisville," said Hale. "This is a wonderful area for the school to grow and I look forward to the great opportunity to get to help North Carolina's future chefs and hospitality leaders achieve their culinary goals as they obtain a first-class education."

"We are proud to announce the promotion of Leslie Hale to this position," said Jeffrey Bane, campus president and national dean for The Chef's Academy. "Her previous experience at both campuses, coupled with her outstanding reputation and relationship with our students, assure us that she will serve The Chef's Academy extremely well in her new role."
