FAYETTEVILLE, NC, May 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) Military DWI defense lawyer Ryan Stump recently represented a member of the U.S. military who was facing criminal charges for speeding and driving while impaired (DWI). After conducting a thorough analysis of the facts of the case, including an investigation of the officer who made the DWI arrest, Mr. Stump successfully argued for a dismissal of all charges.
Mr. Stump's client had been observed speeding while driving on-post at Fort Bragg by military police. The MPs stopped Mr. Stump's client for speeding and suspected that he might be driving while impaired. The arresting MP conducted several field sobriety tests and arrested Mr. Stump's client for DWI on-post at Fort Bragg.
Understanding the severe consequences of a military DWI conviction, Mr. Stump completed a careful review of the arresting officer's notes of the stop and conducted an extensive discussion of the military DWI arrest with his client. Based on his past experience with DWI cases, Mr. Stump uncovered several glaring errors in the DWI investigation and subsequent arrest.
Whether the results of the field sobriety tests conducted by the military police officer were reliable was questionable as was the impartiality of the arresting officer. Mr. Stump discovered information posted to an online social media outlet by the arresting MP that questioned the MP's credibility.
DWI defense lawyer Ryan Stump compiled the available evidence and then worked toward the best possible outcome in this military DWI case. After reviewing the facts and circumstances of the DWI arrest, including the credibility of any testimony the arresting officer may have given at trial, with the Special Assistant United States Attorney (SAUSA) assigned to the case, Mr. Stump was able to convince the SAUSA that justice required dismissal of the charges against his client.
Rather than risking discharge or loss of rank and pay that may be the consequence of a military DWI conviction, Mr. Stump's client was able to remain in the military and continue his distinguished military career protecting our country.

These injury statistics are disheartening because nursery products are supposed to safely give young children comfort and stimulation. Tragically, design defects, manufacturing flaws or instruction errors result in thousands of injuries to kids each year.
The CPSC has identified five categories ...
