COLUMBUS, OH, June 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) inFootball, the comprehensive soccer news and video that first came to Android in March, is now available for iOS. The free app curates content from 18 popular sources for soccer news and video, and preloads highlights for buffer-free viewing. Fans can personalize their experience by following their favorite teams and leagues, and choosing their preferred news sources.
"Football fans want to see game highlights for teams all over the globe," explained Hesham El Gamal, co-founder and president of inmobly. "The iOS version had to have the same benefits as the Android app—preloaded content for delay-free viewing of football news and game highlights, and live scores—anytime, anyplace."
inFootball preloads content to iPhones in user-specified places (e.g. "home" or "work"), making it immediately available when the user opens the app. Passionate soccer fans with iPhones no longer have to search for highlights then wait for them to buffer and load, and they can rewatch them easily. Available now in the AppStore, inFootball pulls in updates from ESPN, FIFA.com, FoxSports, The New York Times, Premier League, Daily Motion and more.
inFootball is the first iOS app from Columbus-based startup inmobly. Their patent personalization and preloading technology introduced the content-before-demand paradigm to Android users in February with PAUL the App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inmobly.paul), and March with inFootball for Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inmobly.infootball.phone).

About inmobly: Through a series of patented predictive-technology apps, inmobly is improving the mobile video viewing experience. Co-founders Hesham El Gamal and Nayer Wanas worked closely with Ohio State's Technology Commercialization Office (https://tco.osu.edu) and investor Tech Columbus (http://techcolumbus.org) to spinoff inmobly as a startup providing mobile multimedia solutions. Hesham is a professor of electrical engineering at The Ohio State University, and TechColumbus provided a significant portion of inmobly's pre-seed funding. In 2012, the company was recognized as a front-runner in the Silicon Valley Global Tech Symposium. For more information, visit http://www.inmobly.com.
