Open Study College First to Receive Prestigious BILD Quality Mark

Open Study College is the first major UK distance learning college to achieve the BILD Quality Mark, a benchmark of high quality for learning and professional development.

WARWICKSHIRE, ENGLAND, June 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Open Study College has become the first distance learning provider in the UK to be awarded the prestigious BILD Quality Mark by the British Institute for Learning and Development.

The BILD Mark is a benchmark of high quality for the learning industry in Britain, which is only awarded to member organisations that demonstrate excellence in their provision of high-quality training.

"We are delighted to be the first distance learning college in Britain to be presented with this accolade," commented Samantha Rutter, Centre Director at Open Study College.

"We spend a great deal of time ensuring that our courses and various forms of student support offer a very high standard of learning experience, so it's terrific that this emphasis on quality has paid off with our achievement of the BILD Quality Mark," she added.

As well as being a member of the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council (ODLQC), Open Study College has also recently joined the European Association of Distance Learning (EADL), committing to setting high educational standards in the distance learning industry throughout the whole of Europe.
