SANTA CLARITA, CA, March 29, 2014 (Press-News.org) Santa Clarita-based Williams Homes, Inc., named 2013 Builder of the Year by the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC), has announced that the firm is expanding its presence with the opening of its first division in Santa Maria, California.
To lead the company's expansion efforts in Santa Maria, Steve Johnson has been appointed as the division's director of construction operations. In this position, Johnson is responsible for identifying specific acquisition opportunities that meet the company's strategic goals. Johnson has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate and homebuilding industry, and has been an integral member of the Williams Homes management team since the company's inception in 1996.
"We are particularly excited to bring our brand to California's Central Coast real estate market and are looking forward to continued growth and success in the coming years for Williams Homes," shared Lance Williams, president and CEO. "Steve's tenure with Williams Homes brings great confidence that he will lead our expansion in the right direction as well as help retain its reputation as the region's most trusted, privately-held homebuilder."
The division's first Santa Maria new home community, Harvest Glen, is already well underway with model homes now under construction. The community will have 139 new, single family homes ranging from 1,623 to 2,639 approximate square feet, and will feature designs and elements that are reflective of Williams Homes' previous new home products. Pricing is anticipated from the $300,000s.
Also located in Santa Maria, Williams Homes will introduce Parkland Cottages in late summer 2014. A gated community of 21 single-story homes, Parkland Cottages will cater to those aged 55 and better. Most recently, Williams Homes acquired 48 lots in Lompoc's Vandenberg Village community. This site offers exciting panoramic views with nearly one-half acre lots. The homes, planned for release this summer, will all be single-story ranging from 2,600 to 3,500 approximate square feet.
The company's expansion to California's Central Coast follows Williams Homes having been named the 2013 Builder of the Year for Los Angeles and Ventura counties, by the BIASC. The firm continues to place a strong emphasis on cultivating meaningful relationships with its customers by building successful, knowledgeable sales teams; developing world-class designs with its outstanding architectural teams, and by delivering the highest quality product possible with its construction teams.
Williams Homes' Central Coast division is located at 940 West Anthony Place in Santa Maria, California. For additional information, phone 805.922.5552 or visit online at http://www.WILLIAMSHOMES.com.
