ROME, ITALY, December 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Be a part of artist Carlos Amorales's debut in Italy by heading to his exhibition in Rome.
The show is entitled Remix and will be available for guests at 5 star hotels in Rome to view at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni until February 27th 2011.
Amorales has brought over five installations and one performance to showcase at the prestigious arts space, with all of the pieces relating to his Liquid Archive - a digital database of images, texts and other items that have inspired him.
"The exhibition title Remix, a musical term, derives from this choice of amplifying the hybridisation process that lies at the origin of each individual work," noted the venue.
Amorales is a Mexican artist who has put together a variety of intriguing shows in his past, such as organising wrestling bouts in which athletes would wear masks with his features on.
The creations in Remix are an "ultramodern" collection of artistic expressions.
Tickets to enter the venue cost EUR12.50 (GBP10.45) and are available online or at the box office, but it is free to get in on the first Wednesday of each month.
Opening hours are from 10:00 local time every day except Mondays, when the building is closed. The complex shuts at 20:00 from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 22:30 on Fridays and Saturdays and 20:00 on Sundays.
For more information on this event, visit the Palazzo delle Esposizioni website or contact the venue on +39 06 399 67500.

The new KLAS "Breast Imaging 2010: A More Complete Picture" report takes an all-inclusive look at breast imaging technologies from a patient perspective, beginning with digital mammography and moving through CAD, MIS and ending with a discussion of newer breast-specific imaging technologies. Providers were noticeably energized about breast-specific imaging units such as the Dilon 6800 Gamma Camera and U-Systems somo-v INSIGHT whole breast ultrasound. However, because reimbursements vary, ROI occasionally takes a hit.
"Providers are looking for more patient-friendly imaging ...

Stifling the Right to Remain Silent
When arrested in the United States, we have the right to remain silent. Most of us know this without attending law school or interacting with law enforcement agents, as a result of pop culture representations of the Miranda warnings. However, one thing that many might not understand despite frequent repetition of the right to remain silent, is how to properly invoke this right.
Consider the case of Van Chester Thompkins. Thompkins was arrested and sat in virtual silence for nearly three hours after he was read his Miranda rights. ...

Giving Bankruptcy Judges "Cramdown" Power To Address Foreclosure Crisis
The downturn in the real estate market two years ago was a major factor in sending America into recession. The subprime mortgage crisis exposed a house of financial cards, and the first wave of mass foreclosures began.
Today, a "new normal" of high unemployment and diminished property values has taken hold. The struggling economy itself, not overly fancy financial instruments, is pushing more and more people into foreclosure. And, for the most part, most of these home foreclosures no longer involve ...
