"Gateways of the Dragons" on January 18 "Why Shamanism Now?" Radio Show with Host Christina Pratt

RHINEBECK, NY, January 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Streaming live on the Co-Creator Radio Network (www.co-creatornetwork.com) on Tuesday, January 18, at 11 a.m. Pacific time/2 p.m. Eastern time, on her show "Why Shamanism Now?: A Practical Path to Authenticity," shaman and founder of the Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing Christina Pratt welcomes Sarah Finlay and Peter Clark of Shaman's Flame. According to Finlay and Clark, "As we move along our path of continuous evolution, we often go through cycles of heightened or diminished connection to our self-esteem and the sense of our divine power. These cycles might ultimately lead to a spiraling upward of increased consciousness or to feelings of stagnation and diminished potential." Christina Pratt is an authentic, non-traditional contemporary shaman. In practice since 1990, she specializes in mending the soul and transforming the parts of life that feel impossible. A teacher of exceptional clarity, humor, and inspiration, Pratt brings the power of shamanism into the practical grasp of anyone willing to take responsibility for improving the quality of their life. Her well-received book, An Encyclopedia of Shamanism (Rosen), is an 800-page, two-volume set with over 750 in-depth entries that clearly discuss the basic concepts of shamanism, methods, and traditions of over 50 different shamanic peoples. Sarah Finlay, B.Ed., B.F.A., a shamanic therapist, educator, artist and writer, has had an ongoing relationship with the spirits since her early teens. She has devoted much of her life to looking for answers pertaining to reality, communication and our divine relationship with the universe. Finlay has worked with several acclaimed shamanic teachers and completed advanced studies in shamanic healing. She has been a practitioner since 2005 and works with all aspects of shamanic healing and divination, but her passion is a unique method of shamanic counseling that combines Jungian psychology and spirit directed healing. Along with this, she often incorporates the extraction of intrusive energies and the retrieval of lost soul parts in her healing sessions. Finlay is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Program in Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing.

Peter Clark, M.A., M.S., a lifelong scientist and educator, has always held a fascination with the cosmos and the nature of reality. In the early 1990s after a spiritual awakening, Clark began a devoted practice that includes yoga, meditation, systemic balancing and shamanic healing. His work integrates seamlessly the concepts found in quantum physics with the spiritual path of shamanic healing. Over the years, Clark has been involved in a number of advanced shamanic healing programs, and has had a healing practice since 2005. He is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Program in Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing.
