Herban Feast's New DIY Design Studio Brings Event Visions to Life

A Brand New Concept, the Herban Design Studio Offers an Array of Event Design Options

2011-01-26
SEATTLE, WA, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Award-winning caterer Herban Feast (www.herbanfeast.com) announced today the opening of its new Herban Design Studio, presenting a full spectrum of event design services with guided DIY workshops, full-service event styling, floral design, party favors, and a large selection of unique pieces that are available to rent. The distinctive, working studio is managed by resident design expert and studio coordinator Chad Burnworth, a designer and floral artist known for his striking and memorable use of botanicals and natural and found objects.

The Herban Design Studio, located in Sodo, is a multi-functional space complete with everything one needs to design their dream event. "As a full service catering company, clients often asked for additional help - from finding other event resources and vendors to selecting a theme and creating decor items that will make their event extraordinary and personal," said BJ Duft, owner of Herban Feast. "Now, we can enhance this support with a beautiful space to plan, create and visualize everything from the overall event concept, including expert event and floral design, to the special details like coming up with ideas for handmade items like place cards, centerpieces, and guest gifts for their special day."

Featuring hanging selections of linens, handcrafted favors, napkin wraps, centerpiece botanicals and floral arrangements, cake stands, and apothecary jars, the Herban Design Studio is rich with resources for clients designing weddings, parties, galas, and other special events. Design packages include basic rentals, rentals with use of the DIY craft space, guided design sessions, and complete event styling and floral design by Burnworth.

The 1,800 square-foot studio can be rented for a variety of uses and will host private and public design workshops and classes. The very first workshop, "Natural Botanical Centerpiece Creation" will take place on February 23rd, 2011. At $65/person, the workshop fee includes materials and guided instruction in event centerpiece creation. The Herban Design Studio is also available for event planners to meet clients and discuss event details, and visiting designers can use the space for onsite preparation during events at Sodo Park. Pricing for the Herban Design Studio is available at http://www.herbanfeast.com.
