World's First Puma Party, for Cougars-in-Training

The first-ever Puma Party, for single women under 40 who prefer younger men, takes place on Friday, February 18, 2011, 8pm-Midnight, at Neptune's Restaurant at Pier 39, San Francisco CA 94133.

2011-01-26
SAN RAFAEL, CA, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) The first-ever Puma Party, for single women under 40 who prefer younger men, takes place on Friday, February 18, 2011, 8pm-Midnight, at Neptune's Restaurant at Pier 39, San Francisco CA 94133. Adult men and women of all ages are welcome.

One Puma in attendance will be crowned Miss Bay Area Puma. She will win a free room at Hedonism II Resort & Spa at Negril Beach, Jamaica during International Cougar Week, March 27 - April 2, 2011. To be eligible she must be legally single, under age 40, available to the news media for interviews, and prefer younger men.

"The worldwide cougar craze is NOT limited to middle-aged women," says Author Rich Gosse, Executive Producer of http://www.cougarevents.com. "Many women under age 40 (AKA Pumas or Cougars-in-Training) also prefer younger men. While middle-aged women are forced to date younger men out of DEMOGRAPHIC NECESSITY (the shortage of men their age who are willing to date middle-aged women), Pumas date younger men out of CHOICE, despite the fact that there are an unlimited number of older, more prosperous men who compete for their favors.

"The Puma Dating Phenomenon is celebrity-driven," says Mr. Gosse:
•Selena Gomez, 18, and Justin Bieber, 16
•Ashley Greene, 23, and Joe Jonas, 21
•Nicki Minaj, 26, and Drake, 24
•Carey Mulligan, 25, and Shia LeBeouf, 24
•Rihanna, 22, and Chris Brown 21 (no longer together)
•Lauren Conrad, 24, and Jason Wahler, 23
•Kelly Osbourne, 26, and Luke Worral, 21 (no longer together)
•Taylor Swift, 21, and Taylor Lautner, 18 (no longer together)
•Jessica Szohr, 25, and Ed Westwick, 23

RICH GOSSE is the author The Cougar Imperative: Why MidLife Women MUST Choose Younger Men and many other books about dating, including You CAN Hurry Love, Singles Guide to America, and A Good Man Is EASY to Find ("This is a great book!" Oprah Winfrey). His expert advice has been featured by ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Business Week, Entrepreneur, Playboy, Playgirl, The London Times, The Australian, The New Zealand Herald, and hundreds of other newspapers, magazines, and TV/Radio shows. Mr. Gosse is available to the news media for interviews by calling 415-507-9962.

The Puma Party features complimentary appetizers, 8-9pm. $20 at the door includes DJ Dance Party, plus 6 hours free validated parking at the Pier 39 Parking Garage across the street. At approximately 10pm, one cougar will be crowned Miss Bay Area Puma, who will be available to the news media for interviews.

Neptune's is a lovely restaurant at world-famous Pier 39, with a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, and San Francisco Bay. It is a large venue, with plenty of space for dancing and flirting.
