UK Energy Saving's Make a Change 2011 Campaign Moves into Second Month
Insulation and not buying products tested on animals are the focus of February's Make a Change from UK Energy Saving
January 30, 2011
Following the launch of the Make a Change 2011 campaign in January, http://www.uk-energy-saving.com is looking forward to the second month of tips for their visitors. The popular consumer website is focussing on one energy saving and one ethical living suggestion each month as it strives to help consumers take little steps towards making a big difference in their lives. In January UK Energy Saving told visitors about energy saving light bulbs and local produce/farmers' markets, and in February they will be focussing on insulating homes and switching to cosmetic and household products which are not tested on animals. Hayley Jones, Web Marketing Director, explains further. "At UK Energy Saving we appreciate that, with so many energy saving and ethical living tips around, it can be difficult to know where to start, which is why we launched the Make a Change 2011 campaign. We hope that, by focussing people on just a couple of relatively simple tips each month, our visitors will be inspired to make changes as the year goes on which will result in real differences in their lives."
The Make a Change page on the UK Energy Saving website, http://www.uk-energy-saving.com/make-a-change.html, contains details of the tips of the month with more snippets relating to the suggestions popping up on Twitter (@ukenergysaver) at regular intervals during the month. UK Energy Saving also invites visitors' suggestions for future Make a Change tips as well as comments on how people are putting the suggestions into practice.
