HAUPPAUGE, NY, March 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) HIA-LI, the recognized voice for business on Long Island, will host a panel of experts speaking about updates in energy on Long Island, at its March 8 Executive Breakfast at the National Grid Training Center, 25 Hub Drive, Melville, New York. Networking followed by breakfast begins at 7:30 AM, with the panel program following from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM. Tickets are available at www.hia-li.org or by calling 631-543-5355.

"There are multiple cost-efficient and energy-saving programs and services available on Long Island," said Terri Alessi-Miceli, President of HIA-LI. "Our panel of experts will discuss energy initiatives impacting the bottom line for business owners and managers, and the way they conduct business. Attendees will also learn about energy efficient buildings, LEED certification and the vision and focus of LIPA as we move further into the decade."

Following opening remarks from Mike Hervey, COO of LIPA, the panel, moderated by David Winchester, CEO of Clean Tech Rocks, will begin. Featured panelists are Bruce Germano, Vice President of Customer Services, LIPA; Rudy Holesek, President of Apollo HVAC; Joseph Rende - Vice President, Energy Solutions Delivery at National Grid; and Vince Capogna, Executive Director, USGBC-Long Island.

The event is sponsored by ADP, H2M, LIPA, National Grid, People's Alliance Federal Credit Union, Stony Brook University.
