XVIVO Scientific Animation Invited to Showcase Capabilities at Stanford University's Cancer Biology Symposium May 2nd

XVIVO Scientific Animation's presentation to an influential audience of key cancer researchers, physicians, and educators will demonstrate the power of visualization and its unique ability to translate complexities of biology into medical discovery.

2011-05-01
ROCKY HILL, CT, May 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Internationally-acclaimed XVIVO Scientific Animation will be presenting at the Stanford University School of Medicine's Cancer System Biology Annual on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2:00p.m. to an audience of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical researchers, physicians/clinicians, and educators. In disciplines ranging from molecular and cellular biology to computer science and mathematics, XVIVO will showcase revolutionary new approaches to education through the visualization of dynamic processes, related to molecular and cellular biology, pathology and drug delivery.

With the goal of educating and informing this influential audience on the power of scientific visualization, XVIVO's Vice-President Robert Krensel will present animation programs that focus on cellular and cancer-related processes (normal versus pathological), stem cell differentiation and cancer therapeutics, highly specialized for this prestigious audience. Mr. Krensel's presentation will include "The Inner Life of the Cell," an animation developed by XVIVO Scientific Animation in partnership with Harvard University's BioVisions multi-media website, which the New York Times opined was "perhaps the pivotal moment in molecular animations."

"Being invited to speak at Stanford University's School of Medicine's influential symposium and present to current and future leaders at the forefront of cancer research and discovery is a real honor," states XVIVO's Vice-President Robert Krensel. "With a focus on pathophysiology and drug delivery mechanisms, XVIVO's presentation will demonstrate the power of visualization as a tool that translates the complexities of molecular and cellular biological processes and demonstrates how scientific animation technology takes us to a place we haven't been before - inside the cell."
