MIAMI, FL, May 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) According to market analysts, gold and silver will continue their current trend during the coming week. The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) left interest rates unchanged, as predicted. Bill Hionas, CEO of Pan American Metals of Miami (PAMOM), confirms that, "...a weakening dollar, fueling fears of inflation, can only push the price of precious metals even higher."
While experts do agree that a correction is bound to happen eventually, it does not appear that this will happen any time soon. Silver leads the way in the rapid rise, almost reaching $50 an ounce. Says Bill Hionas; "I do not doubt that we will be seeing silver at $60 an ounce any day now." Gold, on the other hand, does remain the precious metal of choice for many investors, particularly those looking to preserve wealth or have a hedge against inflation. In terms of future purchasing power, gold will always hold its value, whereas the dollar will buy significantly less in the future than it does at present. Some experts anticipate gold reaching $1600 an ounce very shortly.
Pan American Metals of Miami trades in gold, silver, platinum and palladium. All four metals are enjoying a continued upward trend, with no early end in sight and investors are delighted with current returns. "It is certainly not too late to get into the market," says Bill Hionas. "All the indications suggest a continued rise in precious metal prices for some time to come."
