Metro Media Firm to offer an array of strategic SEO and social media services

Launch of Innovative Social Media Firm: Metro Media Consulting Group
2011-05-03
NEW YORK, NY, May 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Metro Media Consulting Group (New York, Detroit) has opened its doors for business, offering online private and corporate clients and website owners strategic search engine optimization campaigns through an array of social media, press release, web design, and professional writing services.

The firm was the brain child of Suzan Pleva, 27, of Greater Detroit, Michigan.

Said Pleva: "I wanted to create a business which would encompass my best skills and serve the online business community".

Pleva says she has always had both business and creative leanings, and that "this was a way to combine them effectively".

Her partner, Susan Marie Kovalinsky, 51, located in the Greater metro New York area, will be taking care of the writing end of things: News articles and professional writing text to accompany Pleva's social media campaigns on venues such as Facebook, Twitter, and others.

"I like that Suzan comes to New York's Penn Station area often, so we can brainstorm in person as well as online or by cell phone," she said.

Both Pleva and Kovalinsky have experience in the world of client services, and online marketing, and have in the past served an array of clients, including a television host for Time Warner Cable's Eye on Entertainment, several authors in the U.S. and Europe, and an array of prominent law firms and technical and consumer companies.

The pair see this as a chance to blend their talents, expand, and to offer excellence, something they believe, said Pleva, "our clients deserve".

No nuts for 'Nutcracker Man'

No nuts for Nutcracker Man
2011-05-03
SALT LAKE CITY, May 2, 2011 –- For decades, a 2.3 million- to 1.2 million-year-old human relative named Paranthropus boisei has been nicknamed Nutcracker Man because of his big, flat molar teeth and thick, powerful jaw. But a definitive new University of Utah study shows that Nutcracker Man didn't eat nuts, but instead chewed grasses and possibly sedges –- a discovery that upsets conventional wisdom about early humanity's diet. "It most likely was eating grass, and most definitely was not cracking nuts," says geochemist Thure Cerling, lead author of the study published ...
