NEW YORK, NY, May 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Face The Music, a business consulting group that uses music to bring employees to a higher level of engagement, will offer a free workshop to more than a hundred 4th and 5th grade Little Kids Rock students from the Bronx in order to support music education.
Little Kids Rock is a leading nonprofit provider of free musical instruments and teacher trainings to public schoolteachers in New York and nationwide. Its curriculum focuses on teaching kids to improvise and compose original music - the only national, nonprofit music program to do so.
Face The Music has been lauded for its corporate teamwork consulting seminars, which it has brought to clients such as General Electric, Nestle, Panasonic and Pfizer. The organization also donates proceeds from their new CD, "Your Work is Your Song" to support Little Kids Rock's mission in schools.
"We've seen how successful music can be in team-building and pushing people to levels they never thought they could reach," says Face The Music co-founder, Paul Kwiecinski. "It is just as important for kids as it is for adults, maybe even more so."
