5th Annual Brand Jordan 40 & Over Basketball Tournament returns to Chicago
Brand Jordan supports the 5th Annual 40 & Over Tournament in Chicago and brings the best of experienced basketball players to Chicago to compete and raise money for inner city children of Chicago.

It's that time of year again! Time for the Brand Jordan 40 & Over Basketball Tournament; the only tournament in Chicago that has the approval of His Airness himself, Michael Jordan. For five consecutive years, Brand Jordan has powered the premier tournament that brings legendary players over the age of 40 to Chicago to compete and raise money for the charity Sportsfactory.Sportsfactory provides fun summer camps and sports clinics for Chicago area youth. Sportsfactory primary mission is to motivate inner city youth to participate in physical activities and healthy eating in order to fight childhood obesity. Many Chicago public schools no longer provide sports programs due to budget cuts. Sportsfactory ensures that children are exposed to a variety of sports programs and mentors.
The tournament runs every Saturday and Wednesday for 12 weeks beginning Saturday, June 4, 2011. Wednesday games begin at 6:15pm and Saturday games at 11:00am. Tournament is held at the University of Chicago Laboratory School gym located at 1362 East 59th Street in Chicago.
Admission and excitement is free! Cheer your favorite players including Kendall Gill, Randy Brown, Tim Hardaway, Scottie Pippen, and others as they demonstrate their skills and raise money for inner city youth.
