LONDON, ENGLAND, June 03, 2011
The former teen heart-throb has scored hit records like Rock On, starred in movies including Stardust and That'll Be The Day, and been a regular on the stage.'I learnt the dangers of an entourage early on,' admits David, who will be appearing in Albert Square as Eddie Moon, uncle of Alfie and father of Michael.
'If you surround yourself with people who can't say no, they become your world. I never had that.
'Plus I spent six or seven years in the back of a van with a blues band. If I'd had success when I was 17, I'd probably be nuts. Or dead.'
