'Wish You Were At Topshop' Campaign Launches in Three Major Markets

Shoppers to create Instagram postcards at four Topshop locations

LONDON, ENGLAND, June 03, 2011

Topshop has launched a new summer holiday themed campaign called 'Wish You Were At Topshop' at their London, New York, Dublin, Manchester and Liverpool stores.

As well as indulging in organic frozen yoghurts from Frae, and participating in a 'Fashion in the Digital Age' evening workshop, hosted by Dazed Digital, shoppers will also be able to create their own 'Wish You Were At Topshop' postcard.

After receiving a complimentary styling and make-up session, a photo will be taken with an iPad 2 against a flattering backdrop, with the option to choose one of several Instagram filters to change the look and feel of the image.

The technology, created by social media agency FreshNetworks, enables customers to get a printed copy of the postcard, as well as uploading the perfected image straight onto Topshop's gallery and their own Facebook page, allowing them to share the photo with friends both on and offline. Customers can also 'like' Topshop's Facebook gallery and enter a competition for a chance to win a GBP1,000 summer shopping spree.

Topshop is proud to be the first in the industry to work with Instagram, giving customers a fun in-store experience and a postcard they can keep forever.

"Wish You Were At Topshop" runs from 1st-4th June in Oxford Circus, London, St Stephens Green, Dublin and Church Street, Liverpool and from 8th-11th June in Manchester Arndale and Broadway, New York.
