WARRENVILLE, IL, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) is pleased to announce it has joined the National Quality Forum (NQF) and will begin participating in the Health Professional Council immediately. As a NQF member, UCAOA will join with other key public- and private-sector leaders in setting national priorities and goals, setting consensus standards, and continuing education and outreach - especially to the urgent care community.
NQF is a broad-based coalition of healthcare and community leaders united by a common interest in improving healthcare quality. Member organizations of NQF have the opportunity to take part in national dialogue about how to measure healthcare quality and publicly report the findings.
