i.e.* is a collaborative community initiative convened by the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and partner organizations designed to discover, support and showcase Richmond's cross-industry creativity and innovation and amplify it to the world.
Nineteen young children from the Rainbow Station Richmond-area campuses will present "The Next New Thing," a thirteen minute presentation running from 10:15 a.m. to 10:28 a.m. The presentation by the four to eleven year old children will focus on their "Leader in Me" curriculum based on the best-selling book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Dr. Stephen R. Rainbow Station is the only preschool system in the country that is incorporating these leadership principles into its curriculum.
The public is invited to attend the launch event, which will run from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and be held in an as-yet-undisclosed warehouse location in downtown Richmond. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED (www.ie-rva.org). The price of admission is $125 for adults, $50 for students with a valid student ID.
