Green Collar Operations Nominated For Greater Austin Business Awards Through Austin Chamber Of Commerce

Green Collar Operations was recently nominated for a business award through the Austin Chamber of Commerce for their dedication to customer service and the environment.

AUSTIN, TX, June 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Green Collar Operations is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for the 2011 Greater Austin Business Awards in the environmental category. The Greater Austin Business Awards are the premier business awards in Central Texas, recognizing small, medium and large companies in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties. This Austin Chamber of Commerce signature event recognizes the small, medium, large businesses that shine in these categories: Community Relations, Customer Service, Environment, Health and Wellness, Innovative Practices, and Technology. An award is also given to a non-profit organization, and a live audience vote during the event will select the business that is "Most Uniquely Austin."

"We are extremely pleased to have been nominated by our clients for this award," said Jacob Lohman, director of marketing at Green Collar Operations. "This year alone, we have provided energy efficiency measures like solar attic fans, radiant barrier, attic insulation, whole house weatherization and other energy saving measures to a thousand or so clients throughout Austin, Round Rock and other parts of Central Texas. It is great when we are recognized by the Austin Chamber of Commerce for not only saving people money on their utility bills, but also helping to save the environment."

Nomination finalists in the environmental category will be selected by a panel of judges based on numerous criteria including: their integration of innovation into their daily work environment, implementation of new energy saving and environmentally conscious technology, and recent innovations that have improved their service offerings.
