MEDIA, PA, June 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Delaware County domestic relations lawyer, Margaret J. The ChildFirst course in June 2011, created by the nonprofit CornerHouse in cooperation with the American Prosecutors Research Institute and the National Child Protection Training Center, utilizes a specialized forensic interviewing protocol to assess and investigate child abuse matters, particularly those involving child sexual abuse. The ChildFirst Pennsylvania program was presented by the Pennsylvania Children and Youth Solicitors Association in collaboration with the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. In addition to handling domestic relations issues for her clients, Amoroso serves as an Assistant County Solicitor for Delaware County, Pa., and in that capacity handles dependency matters of neglect and abuse for the county's Children & Youth Services.
"As a Children & Youth Services advocate, the children are always my first priority," said Amoroso. "Interviewing abused children is always a delicate proposition, so I was pleased to have an opportunity to further enhance my interviewing skills through the ChildFirst course."
Amoroso, who has been practicing law for more than 20 years, has served as an Assistant County Solicitor since 1991. In addition to representing Children & Youth Services, Amoroso handles appeals for the Department of Public Welfare. A lawyer with Willig, Williams & Davidson, Amoroso counsels and represents clients in domestic relations, real estate, consumer law and criminal defense cases. Stay or Walk Away?
With the economy in such a slump, it's not surprising that more borrowers than ever are in danger of losing their homes in 2011. More than one million homes were repossessed in 2010, an increase from the 918,000 seized in 2009. According to Realty/Trac, a web firm that tracks foreclosed homes, 1.2 million homes will probably be taken back by lenders this year, an increase of 20 percent. And it seems likely that this number will continue to rise for the next few years.
The recent trend among mortgage providers is to suggest loan modifications before ...

-The top illnesses patients left ...

For many homeowners, this is a mistake.
Lenders have been notoriously difficult in negotiating loan modifications. For homeowners unfamiliar with the process, lenders may not ...

Watch Out for Deceptive Home Loan Modification Practices
Small businesses claiming the ability to help homeowners with mortgage relief services are popping up all over the country. With many homes underwater (owing more money to the bank than the home is worth) homeowners are jumping at the chance to reduce mortgage payments. So what is the problem with these companies? Many of them are scams.
These dishonest businesses and individuals may charge an up-front fee, perhaps for thousands of dollars, and claim they will negotiate with the banks. Instead, they pocket the ...
