The accounting and business advisory firm has promoted the following staff to associate:
• Brian Greko is a certified public accountant who provides a wide range of services including audit, review, tax services, employee benefit plans and general business advice to clients in higher education and manufacturing. A resident of Comstock Park, Greko joined the firm in 2006. He holds a bachelor of business administration and accounting from Aquinas College. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as treasurer of the Grand Rapids Junior Chamber of Commerce.
• Laura Pettinga is a CPA who works in the audit department. She focuses her practice on manufacturing, construction, service and employee benefit plans. A resident of Grand Rapids, she joined the firm in 2006. She holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Calvin College. She is a member of AICPA and Inforum.
• Adam Stevenson is a CPA who works in the audit department. He concentrates his practice on assurance services in the manufacturing and health care industries. A resident of Grand Rapids, Stevenson joined Plante & Moran in 2006. He holds a BBA from Grand Valley State University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Michigan. He currently serves as treasurer of the Western Michigan Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
• Jeremy Tollas is a qualified plan financial consultant with Plante Moran Financial Advisors. His practice emphasizes investment consulting to institutional clients, including corporate retirement plans, foundations and endowments. Tollas holds a bachelor of arts in finance from Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and a youth leader at the Second Congregational United Church of Christ. He resides in Grand Rapids.
