CLEVELAND, OH, July 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Silico Corporation and Interneer have partnered together to host, "The Next Generation of Quality Management Software," a seminar to take place on August 11, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. John M. Cachat, President and CEO of Silico, will share his views and opinions on how the next generation of quality management software (QMS) should look and behave.
After 20 years of designing, building, implementing, and maintaining commercial off the shelf (COTS) software, Cachat has created a new vision for supporting robust QMS systems in manufacturing, service, government, and other markets.
"It is no longer acceptable to require organizations to provide extensive initial and on-going training to get software implemented, nor is it acceptable to charge inflated amounts to customize screens in order to match their current forms," stated Cachat. "The previous software development paradigm based on creating databases and elaborate software menus and screens is obsolete."
Attendees will learn why people and process must be the leading factors to drive the correct application of technology. Cachat will discuss how the next generation of QMS will be flexible and adaptable, based on your forms and your processes, integrated with your other software applications, capable of supporting non-QMS projects and will require very little IT support.
This event is intended for individuals from highly regulated manufacturing companies that must meet quality requirements. The entire management team can benefit from the seminar, including those in purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality, technology, financial and human resources.
This seminar is scheduled for August 11, 2011 from 10:00am—12:00pm at the Courtyard Los Angeles West Side, 6333 Bristol Parkway, Culver City, CA 90230. On-site parking is $6.00.
This event may qualify for free continued education units (CEUs) and all attendees will receive a certificate of participation.
To register, please visit http://www.nextgenerationqms.eventzilla.net. Registration is free, however space is limited. The registration deadline is August 5, 2011.
