BALTIMORE, MD, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Susan Sykes Hendee, Ph.D., CCE, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Baltimore International College (BIC), was named a 2010 Honorary Inductee into the American Academy of Chefs. Dr. Hendee's Honorary Fellowship into the Academy was announced at the American Academy of Chefs 39th Annual Induction Dinner held on August 3 in Anaheim, Ca.

The American Academy of Chefs (AAC) is the prestigious honor society of the American Culinary Federation (ACF). The Academy recognizes those individuals whose outstanding achievements in the culinary profession and involvement in ACF deserve acknowledgement. Dr. Hendee was recognized for her dedication and service to the culinary profession and for her enhancement of the culinary arts.

Baltimore International College is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC), which assures BIC's culinary programs meet nationally recognized educational standards and competencies for faculty, curriculum, and student services.
