Follow the Flashing Lights to GreenLightâEUR s 1:64 Hot Pursuit 3

Every vehicle in this GreenLight Line is officially licensed by individual police departments.

2010-09-22
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Almost everyone has a childhood memory of a toy police die cast car, they represent safety, allow one to play the role of authority and are the perfect beginning to the lifelong love of die cast collecting. Though they donâEUR t have the power to write you a ticket GreenLight Collectibles has continued to represent complete authenticity with the newest release of the 1:64 Hot Pursuit Series 3. For those not familiar to the series Hot Pursuit includes police, fire chief and patrol cars from past and present municipalities across America.

When choosing which cars to use in this hot series GreenLight has truly listened to what the collectors want. Numerous requests for larger departments as well as the positive feedback received from past patrol cars prompted GreenLight to include three state patrol cars (Alabama, Nevada and Wisconsin). The set also includes two county sheriff cars for variety, Rockdale County Georgia and Boone County Missouri. But by far the most unique car in the series is the 1981 Chevy Corvette, property of the Waterford, Connecticut police department. This car was seized from a drug dealer and has since been used as part of the Waterford policeâEUR s anti-narcotics education programs. âEURœThis isnâEUR t your every day police cruiser, but we hope collectors respond well and appreciate it as such an interesting modelâEUR says Matthew Elliot, Director of Production. âEURœThis uncommon police vehicle choice paired with the unique paint scheme is the type of rare but authentic model GreenLight tries to showcase from time to time to add great variety to the set.âEUR

This six car series includes:

-1:64 1981 Chevrolet Corvette Waterford Police Department (Waterford, CT)
-1:64 2008 Crown Victoria Boone County Sheriff (Columbia, Missouri)
-1:64 2008 Crown Victoria Nevada Highway Patrol
-1:64 2008 Dodge Charger Alabama State Police
-1:64 2008 Dodge Charger Rockdale County Sheriff (Georgia)
