Schoppe, president of the firm, has earned a certification from the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP), the international body for professionals engaged in technology transfer. Schoppe earned her certification by demonstrating a track record of achievement and contribution to the profession during her more than 15 years as a technology transfer professional. Since her successful launch of Fuentek in 2001, Schoppe has been the principal investigator or project lead on major technology transfer initiatives for a variety of clients, and under her leadership, the company has grown significantly each year and is now one of the largest NASA contractors in North Carolina.
Schoppe has an extensive background in all aspects of IP management, including valuing the deals, negotiating the business terms, and leading license negotiation activities from transition innovations to new products.
