CORNWALL, ENGLAND, February 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Legendary British pop group The Hollies are due to play two nights at the Hall for Cornwall next month.
The pair of concerts at the Truro theatre forms part of the band's 50th anniversary tour, which will call at venues across England and Scotland throughout March and April.
Fans heading to the Hall for Cornwall on Friday March 9th or Saturday March 10th can expect to hear renditions of classic hits such as Bus Stop, Carrie Anne, Just One Look and He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother.
Tickets for the concerts are available online, priced between GBP20.50 and GBP25.50 plus booking fee.
With 19 studio albums and more than 60 single releases to their name, The Hollies are one of the few leading pop groups from the 1960s who have continued to record and perform since their inception.
Formed in Manchester, they became known for their catchy melodies and bright vocal harmonies. The group have survived a large number of line-up changes, including the departure of original member Graham Nash in 1968.
Fans of the band will find a diverse selection of Cornwall hotels at LateRooms.com, such as Upton House in Fowey.
This five-star hotel exudes vintage glamour and offers a range of individually styled bedrooms.
