NEW YORK, NY, May 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) The three-day event will feature a series of concerts celebrating the music of the legendary Austrian composer, as well as performances of famous works by Bach and Beethoven.
This year's festival will be held on the lawn of Old Westbury Gardens - a Charles II-style mansion built in 1906 - from Saturday May 26th to Monday May 28th.
Performers will include Grammy-nominated violinist Anastasia Khitruk, renowned pianist Elena Baksht and the World Youth Alliance United Nations Chamber Orchestra.
As well as the music, the festival offers various other activities to keep visitors entertained. On Saturday May 26th, there will be guided tours of Westbury House and Gardens.
The Mozart for Children session, taking place at 12:00 local time on the same day, will give younger listeners an introduction to the composer's work.
Daily tickets can be purchased online or at the gate, priced at $10 (GBP6.10) for adults and $8 for senior citizens.
