The National Inclusion Project and Co-founders Clay Aiken and Diane Bubel are proud to announce the 9th Annual Champions Gala.

RALEIGH, NC, May 24, 2012

The National Inclusion Project and Co-founders Clay Aiken and Diane Bubel are proud to announce the 9th Annual Champions Gala with special guests Pop Icon Debbie Gibson, Late Night Legend Arsenio Hall, Rock Star Dee Snider and American Idol Ruben Studdard. The event will be held at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. on October 20, 2012.

The Gala will honor outstanding Champions of inclusion that are making a difference in their communities and society. The funds raised will be used to open doors for all kids to be included together and experience all that life has to offer. By conducting programs with community partners, the Project teaches others how to be inclusive so that kids with and without disabilities can experience lifelong benefits. No child should have to sit on the sidelines!

Along with the celebrity performances, the audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a live auction to benefit the National Inclusion Project and hear remarks from the Honorees and Project Co-founders Diane Bubel and Clay Aiken. A VIP reception will be held at the JW Marriott earlier in the evening.

About the National Inclusion Project

The National Inclusion Project serves to bridge the gap that exists between young people with disabilities and the world around them. They partner with communities and programs to teach others how to be inclusive so that kids with and without disabilities can experience lifelong benefits. By driving the movement for social inclusion in after school programs, summer camps, and in the classroom, children of all abilities learn, play and serve together. To date, the Project has partnered with over 170 programs nationally and has impacted over 25,000 children.
