ACWORTH, GA, June 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Steve Hahn, Acworth dentist, is happy to be able to provide LANAP periodontal laser treatment to his patients. The new surgical technique will provide optimal results for patients with gum disease.
The LANAP laser allows the Kennesaw family dentist to perform periodontal surgery with much less discomfort than with standard surgery. No general anesthetic is needed and the recovery time is less than 24 hours.
"I am very excited to be able to offer the LANAP periodontal procedure at our practice. I believe this surgery will be a great asset to our practice and our patients will be very satisfied with the results. Using this technology, we are able to achieve positive results with very little discomfort," said Dr. Steve Hahn, dentist in Kennesaw.
During a LANAP procedure, there is no cutting and no suturing. Traditional periodontal surgery requires between two and four weeks of recovery and considerable pain and swelling. In addition, traditional surgery generally requires four appointments to complete. The quickness and convenience of the LANAP procedure allows for the process to be completed in just one or two appointments.
To learn more about Dr. Hahn and his practice, patients are encouraged to visit his comprehensive dental website at http://www.georgiadic.com. The site offers a variety of services and information including office hours, location, staff bios and a full list of services provided at the practice. There is also an easy to use appointment request form and a patient education library to help inform patients about different dental topics.
