Omaha Dentist Reaches Out to Patients Through Social Media

OMAHA, NE, July 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. James McCaslin, dentist in Omaha, is excited to be jumping into the world of social media with his practice's Facebook page. He hopes the Facebook page will make it easier for his patients to interact with his practice online.

"I am very happy that our practice has been active on Facebook over the past year. I know that many of our patients use this service every day and I'm glad that our practice is accessible on Facebook. I hope all of our patients will take the time to "like" our Facebook page," said Dr. McCaslin, cosmetic dentist in Omaha.

Dr. McCaslin and his staff have been using the Facebook page to post updates on the practice and links to blog posts. Patients that "like" the Facebook page can post questions and comments on the wall of the page and the Omaha dentist or a member of his staff will respond in the comments section. This is designed to increase the amount of communication between Dr. McCaslin and his patients.

The staff at Evergreen Dental are also maintaining a dentistry blog. The blog is full of information related to veneers in Omaha and other dental services. There are also videos that the staff produced and information about any specials the practice is currently offering.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. McCaslin for Omaha Invisalign or other dental service, patients can either call (402) 493-4040 or use the online appointment request form. To use this, patients simply have to enter in the date, time and nature of their appointment to the online form. Shortly after this, the practice's scheduling coordinator will follow up with an email to confirm the appointment. This allows for patients to schedule appointments without ever having to pick up the phone.
