Maxi Cab Singapore Launches Mobile Website for iPhone/Android Booking

The company has launched an HTML5-compliant, mobile version of its website to allow customers to make maxi cab bookings using their iPhones and Android smartphones.

2012-08-20
SINGAPORE, August 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Popular limousine service provider, Maxi Cab Singapore, has launched a standards-compliant mobile version of its website. The mobile website was build to be standards-compliant to cater to its maxi cab customers, who mostly perform bookings through calls on iPhone and Android phones.

According to the marketing agency handling the company's online campaigns, SearchGuru, about 50% of the traffic came from mobile devices. Based on Analytics data, the most common mobile devices used to access the website were the latest iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy SIII, the new iPad Retina and Samsung Galaxy Tab.

SearchGuru is a leading online marketing company that has been providing SEO services in Singapore since 2005. Apart from SEO, the company also provides Google AdWords management and conversion optimization services.

"Bounce rate was very high on mobile devices, especially on smartphones with smaller screen sizes, because the regular maxi cab website was designed for desktops, laptops and tablets. With the new mobile site, bounce rate fell by 2/3rd - eliminating the wastage on advertising dollars on AdWords, which are relatively high due to the competitive nature of the industry," said Larry Lim, Head of Marketing for SearchGuru.

The mobile website is HTML5-based and formatted for the lower resolutions on smartphones, although the webpages do automatically resize for devices with larger screens. In addition, users can also click on the "Call" button to make a booking instead of memorizing and manually dialing the maxi cab hotline number.

Maxi Cab Singapore is the latest player in the highly competitive maxi cab industry in Singapore, which has seen surging demands due to the increase in tourists to the island republic - especially after the opening of Marina Bay Sands casino and other recent attractions on Sentosa island, like Universal Studios.

Maxi Cab Singapore offers Singapore airport transfers, client pickups, sightseeing tours and point-to-point travel, especially for bigger groups of 4 adults or more. Rates start from S$40 for short trips within the city.

In addition to 7-seater Mercedes Vito and 13-seater Toyota Hi Roof maxi cabs, the company also has luxury Mercedes Benz E-Class and Mercedes Benz S-Class limousines to cater to its more discerning customers.

For more information or for maxi cab booking, please call us at +6566815663.

Maxi Cab Singapore provides affordable private limousine services for airport transfers, corporate client pickups and point-to-point group travel. Our goals are to get you to any destination in Singapore safely, comfortably and on time.

2012-08-20
In 2012, economists and energy experts alike have responded with vigorous enthusiasm to America's ever-burgeoning supply of natural gas, taken mostly from the nation's ample shale gas reserves. For most industry insiders and energy experts, the shale gas and oil boom has proven to be a windfall for the nation's energy economy, and a cause for true optimism. A few minority voices offer a more measured assessment, however, including Bernstein Research analyst Bob Brackett. Brackett recently opined that the deterioration of certain shale oil and gas wells suggests that America's ...
