CONCORD, NC, October 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) Anyone who owns a puppy or dog will eventually have to deal with and correct less than desirable behavior of their pets. There are a number of behaviors that should be in contention, including jumping on people, this is one behavior that many owners inadvertently encourage their animals, as it pops up, wagging his tail, and other can be a sweet young pup. When the puppy is older, taller and heavier, but the behavior of jumping stops being cute and starts to become annoying and even dangerous.
A large dog jumping on people can be dangerous heavy for young children and even some adults, like a big, 100 pounds, the dog is easier to go to a child or small adult. Because, as the owner are responsible for the behavior of your dog, it is important to reduce this behavior problem in the bud. The best time to do, of course, is when the puppy is still small and manageable. When the puppy jumps up, you or someone else, gently place the puppy back foot on the floor. When the dog is still there, be sure to praise highly. The importance of giving your puppy an alternative to jump. Puppies jump people to express enthusiasm, so it is important to redirect the energy of a socially acceptable manner. Try to teach your puppy to present his paw instead of jumping.
Teaching your puppy not to jump on people, it is important to be consistent. Consistency is important in any training program, and all family members should understand that the puppy is not allowed to jump over them. Tensile loading and pulling the thread One of the problems that really want to nip in the bud is as follows. It is important that the puppy learns to respect the collar and belt now, when still small and light enough to handle. Teaching this lesson to a 10 pound puppy will be much easier to teach the same lesson to a dog 150 lbs.
Use a safety harness or a very strong head collar can be a big help when training a puppy not to pull, or retrain a dog that has learned to pull on the leash. During the first installation of a harness, it is important to give the puppy to walk around wearing it, so he can get used to wearing it. The first thing your puppy must learn, and the basis for all subsequent training, teach your dog to heel. Teaching your dog to walk calmly at your side on leash free is the foundation of any dog training until the pup has mastered this essential skill, it will be able to move into more advanced training.
When the puppy walks on a leash, it is important to keep the leash loose. If the puppy begins to pull on the leash, the pilot would have to change direction quickly. The puppy then be lagging behind instead of forward. At least loosen, not only takes a split second to change direction. It's important that the processor used quickly tug the leash, immediately followed by relaxation, after teaching this lesson. When teaching the puppy to walk properly, it is important to never leave your puppy pulls, or to create a forward on a leash.
