Jade Esteban Estrada Offers A Taste of HA!lapeño

Award-Winning Entertainer Launches National Tour, Special Offer on DVD

SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 20, 2012

Acclaimed multi-media entertainer Jade Esteban Estrada will bring his special Latin flavor of stand-up comedy to National Hispanic Heritage Month, with a national tour and a special deal on his first comedy DVD.

During September and October, the comedian will offer his stand-up comedy DVD, "That Is So Gay!", for a discounted price of only $10. The deal - dubbed the HA!lapeño Especial - comes as Estrada prepares to launch his HA!lapeño Tour, which will include an appearance at the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club in Ventura, California on Thursday, September 27, as part of the 2012 Ventura Comedy Festival's Latino Showcase.

"That Is So Gay!" (produced by Estrada and PrimaDonna Productions, Inc.) was recorded in the performer's hometown of San Antonio, Texas, where his tour began on Saturday, September 15 (the first day of National Hispanic Heritage Month). As he says with a smile, "The things that make us laugh are the things that make us who we are. So much of my humor is based on my experiences growing up in a Mexican-American household (and I come from a big family, so there's a lot of material there!), and the DVD celebrates that. So what better way to remember Hispanic Heritage Month than to share it with fans, friends, and family?"

National Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from September 15 to October 15 (as Estrada explains, "We Mexicans know a few things about crossing borders, so our month does, too"), but the HA!lapeño Especial will be valid at Estrada's website, getjaded.com, until Wednesday, October 31. "We decided to keep the offer up a little longer," he jokes, "for any fans or relatives who show up late!"

A veteran of stage and screen, Jade Esteban Estrada has been featured on Comedy Central and Bravo; as an actor, he has appeared on NBC's Emmy Award-winning series "30 Rock" and "Friday Night Lights"; and his work as a singer has been featured on FX's award-winning series "The Shield". A native of San Antonio, Texas, Estrada has celebrated his heritage in such one-man shows as "Pico de Gallo" and "Tortilla Heaven", and in 2007, he was invited to speak at MTV Networks' Latino History Month Panel Discussion. Estrada has won numerous awards and accolades for his stage work and activism, including six awards for his one-man series "ICONS: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World". In 2008, he hosted the GLAAD Media Awards in Miami, Florida; the ceremony was broadcast nationwide on Bravo. For more information, please visit getjaded.com.
