FERNDALE, MI, October 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) The 3rd Annual "HellBent" Halloween Event is on Saturday October 27 at the Russell Industrial Center (1600 Clay Avenue) in Detroit. This spine-tingling party is located inside a 10,000 square foot warehouse space on the fifth floor of building one. Doors are at 8 p.m. and ages 21 and over are welcome to attend. $15 advance tickets are now available online via neptix.com or at retailers Showtime Clothing (Detroit) and UHF Record Store (Royal Oak). Advance ticket purchasers will be entered into a drawing to win cool prizes from Showtime Clothing, On the Rocks Detroit, Lucky Monkey Tattoo and more! Tickets are $20 at the door and costumes are strongly encouraged but not required for attendance.
Partygoers will take a spooky ride up an old freight elevator (operated by a demon, of course!) and will be able to experience some of the amazing artwork inside the party space that is indicative of the creative minds of the Russell tenants. Secure gated parking is only $2.
Hellbent III features chilling props and thrilling entertainment including "dead" music by psycho-electro space outfit FlashClash, evil fetish rockers Crud, bone-crunching bootycore masters Haf/Life, and Goth club DJ Pleasure Kitten. Chiller Drive In TV's horror host Wolfman Mac will act as Master of Terrors.
New for this year is the "Zombie Carn-EVIL" - where revelers can play for a chance to win prizes by Showtime Clothing, Tito's Vodka, Lucky Monkey Tattoo, Monster Energy and more.
Also debuting this year is Hellbent's "Skeleton Army". Ten life-size skeletons will be ghoulishly decorated in a competition by Detroit's College for Creative Studies students and on display.
With a cash bar sponsored by Tito's Vodka, a snake charming belly dancer, tarot card readings and other surprises - Hellbent III will be so much fun - it's scary!
About the space: Designed by legendary architect Albert Kahn, the Russell Industrial Center is nearly a hundred years old - providing the perfect spooky backdrop for HellBent. During World War II the Russell was used as a center for building airplanes, and later became the hub of Detroit's printing industry. Recognized today as the creative hub of Detroit's artistic renaissance "The Russell" is home to over 125 commercial tenants representing a full spectrum of creative activity.
Hellbent III is sponsored by On the Rocks Detroit, Russell Industrial Center, Showtime Clothing, Lucky Monkey Tattoo and Tito's Vodka.
