The Chef's Academy Appoints Mary Margaret McCamic As Director Of Career Services

Culinary Institution's Instructor And Wine Educator To Serve In New Administrative Role

RALEIGH, NC, November 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Mary Margaret McCamic has been named the director of career services for the school's Morrisville, N.C., campus. In her new position, McCamic will serve as a mediator between culinary students and prospective employers, prepare students for their future culinary careers, oversee The Chef's Academy's advisory board and maintain close relationships with alumni. In addition, McCamic will continue to teach wine courses to students of The Chef's Academy.

Previously serving as the instructor of wine and communication studies for The Chef's Academy in Morrisville, McCamic received the Wine Australia Scholarship as the top-scoring graduate from the United States in 2011. She earned her bachelor's degree in English and creative writing, as well as her master's degree in teaching, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McCamic's passion for wine led her to study at New York City's International Wine Center, where she completed one of the most challenging courses of wine study in the country. She has been with The Chef's Academy in Morrisville since it opened in 2011.
